為了讓學生在濃厚的書香氛圍中親近閱讀，本校於4月30日舉辦了「閱讀日——大自然的禮讚」活動。學生透過多元化的閱讀活動及創意延伸學習，體會閱讀的樂趣。
活動包括：
- 英文閱讀講座
由Books and Beyond Reading Club 為四至六年級學生帶來精彩的英文閱讀講座，師生一起共讀與獅子有關的英文圖書，從故事中體會勇敢的重要。另外，Mr. Gavin Coates 與一至三年級學生分享有關環保的故事，並即場示範繪畫卡通風格的地球、樹木和海豚，讓學生在輕鬆的互動中學習愛護大自然。
- 手工和創意活動
一至三年級動手製作屬於自己的「書角」，營造閱讀小天地；四年級發揮想像力，創作完整的故事；五、六年級則挑戰改寫故事結局，培養創意與邏輯思維，把故事創作成四格漫畫，體驗小作家的樂趣。
- 課室共讀時光
老師與同學在課室中一起分享喜愛的圖書，交流閱讀心得，讓閱讀不再只是獨自的旅程，而是充滿分享與共鳴的愉快經歷。
每位學生都沉浸在閱讀的世界中，享受與書本為伴的快樂時光，讓閱讀成為生活的一部分！
To help students develop love for reading, our school held the "Reading Day – A Tribute to Nature" on April 30. Through a variety of reading activities and creative tasks, students experienced the joy of reading.
The highlights of the event included:
- English Reading Talks
Books and Beyond Reading Club delivered an engaging English reading talk for students in Grades 4 to 6. Teachers and students read an English picture book about lions together, learning the importance of courage from the story. Meanwhile, Mr. Gavin Coates shared two environmental protection stories with students in Grades 1 to 3, and gave a live demonstration on how to draw cartoon-style Earth, trees, and dolphins, helping students learn about the importance of caring for nature.
- Creative Hands-on Activities
Students in Grades 1 to 3 made their own "book corners" as bookmarks. Grade 4 students used their imagination to create stories. Grades 5 and 6 took on the challenge of rewriting story endings. These creative activities helped them experience the fun of being young writers while developing creativity and logical thinking.
- Classroom Shared Reading
Teachers and students shared their favourite books together in the classroom, exchanging thoughts and feelings about reading. This turned reading from a solitary journey into a joyful experience filled with sharing and connection.
Every student loved getting lost in books and felt happy when reading was part of their everyday life.
